NASRI RULED OUT

Manchester City’s Samir Nasri will be out injured for around 8 weeks as he sustained a left knee injury. The French midfielder used his Twitter page to talk about the condition of his injury and he also expressed all the support he has been receiving in these last few days. He picked up the injury when the Newcastle United defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa tackled him during the 2nd half of Manchester City’s 2-0 triumph that keep them at the top of the Premier League alongside Chelsea and Arsenal.

“Thank you everyone for your kind words and overwhelming support,” Nasri wrote, “I suppose its kind of good news that I will be out around 8 weeks.

Samir Nasri has been featured in 16 matches for Manchester City of the Premier League in this season and has been one of the most consistent players for the side that is fighting to hold the league title once more.

Jose Mourinho and Chelsea are one of the direct rivals that Manchester City has and the Portuguese rated the side of Manuel Pellegrini highly as he considers them to be the favorites on winning the title this season.

“City, in terms of power of the squad, are in another dimension. You can’t compare their situation with any other club. Some people disagree or some managers feel they shouldn’t say it, but I say what I feel: City are different’’.

“It’s not about having quality players, other clubs also have quality. But Man City are in the perfect moment.
